About UsWe are a small business centered in Vancouver which takes unused clothing and turns it into patchwork items and clothing that are both stylish and inexpensive.
Many clothing corporations take advantage of lower-class families in third-world countries buy enslaving children and forcing them to work long hours and paying them insubstantial amounts, as well as preventing them from receiving an education. Our mission is to provide a more ethical yet less expensive option for people like us who want to feel good about shopping but aren't sure where to buy. |
Our History |
We were started at an entrepreneurship program called Startup Skool. The problem before us was that there was so much unused yet usable clothing as well as old clothing with usable fabric, and yet people kept buying new stuff. It was also a strain on our conscience knowing that every piece of clothing we bought was manufactured by hundreds of child slaves.
We decided that our business idea would be to take unused and old clothing, disinfect it, turn it into patches, and sew it into cool items. Since then we have made a few products and even launched our website. |
